YoonA deserves to be praised
Bon Appetit, Your Majesty has all the necessary ingredients for a good kdrama. From the writing to the directing and most importantly, the acting.
Yoona shines in this role. Yeon Jiyoung might be one of her best roles yet. People often say she's only good in comedic roles but let's be honest, not everyone can do comedy. Yoona does it flawlessly. It's so fun to watch her character in the joseon dynasty. Her cooking will most likely be the reason she survives and thrives there. She's also a head strong character who isn't afraid to speak her mind. We love that for her.
Lee Chaemin is a breakout star in this role. Many people doubted him because he isn't the first pick but honestly, he exceeded everyone's expectations and now I can't imagine any other actor for the role of Lee Heon.
Overall this drama makes me look forward to the coming episodes. I'm grateful to this drama for getting me out of my kdrama slump. I hope the rest of the episodes are this good if not better than the first two.
