Su From So: Overrated Yet Morally Grounded
My opinion on the film "Su From So":
I believe the movie is overhyped. In the first half, it feels like there's no clear storyline, and it may seem disconnected. However, in the second half, all the pieces start coming together and connect back to the first half. In terms of entertainment, I would rate it as just above average but below good.
Despite some disappointment, the film does offer a few moral takeaways:
a) What happens to a girl if both her parents, especially her mother, pass away - and the challenges she may face in society.
B) For every problem, we need to sit down and resolve it calmly, not by fighting or hurting each other.
C) How fake spiritual leaders or so-called spiritual masters these days take advantage of vulnerable situations.
Overall, it's a one-time watch - suitable if you're just looking to pass 3 hours. Most of the actors are fresh faces, and the storyline is new, with excellent direction. One thing is certain: everyone delivered extraordinary performances.
