The event is getting bigger and gaining momentum, and with just weeks to go, the authorities are ramping up the pressure on those set to attend. Connie receives a huge bill for the event, but the sponsorship money doesn't come her way. Frank Dimaggio offers some help. The town of Rachel isn't ready for the event, is Las Vegas?
They should have kept it all in cartoon mode because the story itself felt like a wild, out-of-control cartoon. The opinions we have about America being the land where people sue everyone are true!
Every element is insane: the people, the story, the event, the hats, the makeup, and the response; it is genuinely like something out of a crazy cartoon, something you'd watch in the early hours.
The authorities must have been on pins, not knowing who or what was coming.
I'm not sure if Connie is as naive and behind the scenes as she made out in episode one; she strikes me as someone very shrewd and very tough. I liked her, just like Matty Roberts; the two were just way in over their heads.
Talk about an anti-conclusion, it has to be thr biggest let down of all time. Can you imagine the cost of it.
5/10.
