Decent episode but a sudden decrement in animation quality

Episode 1140 of One Piece drew sharp criticism for its pacing and visual execution. Fans and critics alike felt Toei squandered a pivotal Egghead arc moment with overused CGI, repetitive shots, and drawn-out sequences that dulled the impact of Luffy's Gear 5. The constant explosions and jittery animation were called distracting rather than dramatic. Sanji's altered portrayal, diverging from the manga and making him appear reckless, further fueled backlash. What should have been a defining, hype-filled episode instead left many disappointed.

This episode was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Every single scene had me completely hooked, and by the time it reached the most intense moments, I literally had goosebumps. The writing, acting, and pacing were all so strong that it's impossible to give it anything less than a 9.5. Anyone rating it lower is either missing the brilliance or just being a hater, because this was easily one of the best episodes I've ever watched.

SUBTITLES spoiled it fr

I was happy when the episode released because I was tired of flash l backs, and I just wanted to see luffy and zoro with the bonney seeing her revenge idol (NIKA) the episode was good but did had a different subtitles cause what I was reading didn't relate to any thing of one piece it was totally different from the episode and the anime entirely i couldn't even do anything I only managed to imagine the words written But still maybe it was only me but if it's not I would've given it a 10 but due to the subtitles 4/10 is accurate for me I hoe they do something about it I only hope to watch it on Netflix.

One piece 1140 Review without spoilers

Actually the episode, animation is pretty good , I don't like this pacing that toei is ruing for the last 6 episodes , and some sequence needed to be extended to keep it a good goosebumps, they don't know anything about onepiece , just animating, looks like doing their job without any soul in it....

One piece is real

Greatest show I never watched before Absolutely greatest. Refreshing and peacefull I have no more words to say. ODA you are the great man . Your story tells what I want what I have . Everything is in the show . And luffy the man gives smile and sadness and joy . Yah the JOY BOY is definitely Luffy🙌 thank you oda.
