I find Rain of Red to have a strong screenplay, adapted from a famous novel, staying faithful to history while portraying both a humanistic perspective and a heroic spirit. The sets are carefully prepared, and the actors deliver heartfelt, emotional performances. The ensemble cast is highly commendable, though one cameo feels somewhat out of tune and slightly disrupts the film's emotional flow. At times, the film also feels slightly stage-like, with certain repeated scenes of the Republic of Vietnam meetings becoming somewhat tedious. Still, it is a powerful and moving film overall - definitely worth watching. The good news is that the movie comes with English subtitles, making it accessible to international viewers.
This is the story of 81 days and nights of fire, when soldiers and civilians stood as one to defend the ancient citadel of Quang Tri against overwhelming forces.
A battle so fierce, tens of thousands gave their lives, and millions of tons of bombs turned the land into ashes.
Yet, within the devastation, there were stories of love, of faith, of brotherhood, and of unbearable loss. Stories that remind us that even in the darkest of times, the human spirit endures.
This film is not only about war - it is about memory, gratitude, and the price of freedom.
It is a tribute to those who sacrificed everything, so that a nation could stand independent.

I've watched the film twice, and each time it moved me to tears. It is an extremely realistic portrayal of the 81-day-and-night battle to defend Quang Tri Citadel during the Vietnamese people's resistance war against the Americans. A highly realistic and historically valuable film. It features many cinematic camera angles, is both tragic and epic, yet also includes many humorous situations. Highly recommended for everyone to watch and enjoy.

When I left the theater after the screening of Red Rain, I was filled with emotions that were difficult to fully describe. The film is not only a cinematic work but also a heroic epic about the 81 days and nights of bloodshed in Quang Tri Citadel in 1972. Director Dang Thai Huyen and his crew realistically and movingly recreated the fierceness of war, where young soldiers in their twenties bravely entered the battlefield with burning faith and love for their country. I was really impressed with the way the film built the characters. They are not distant heroes, but ordinary boys and girls, with dreams, fears, and youthful love. It is that simplicity that makes their sacrifices all the more sacred. There were moments on the screen that made the whole audience silent, and many people shed tears. I also choked up when I saw the images of backpacks, rubber sandals, white daisies... as a reminder of irreplaceable losses. Red Rain not only brought emotion, but also aroused in me a deep pride and gratitude. Proud that our nation has had resilient generations, daring to use their blood to protect every inch of our homeland. Grateful because thanks to that sacrifice, today's generation can live in peace and happiness. At the same time, I also respect the film crew, because they dared to commit to creating a historical work full of humanity, rekindling the flame of memories in the hearts of young audiences.

This movie easy to understanding Quang Tri history of America war Vietnam. For me, 10/10 for Mua Do isn't enough. I highly recommend people should watch this once!
