This show is so darn cute!! It's so, so needed with so much division in the US right now.

I love the premise. It's perfectly sweet and funny without too much sappiness or silliness; a seamless watch...something for everyone (except maybe those with hearts of hate).

I really like the cast, especially George Wallace, Laverne Cox, Jay Wilkison & Norah Murphy.

I appreciate a little bit of fluff & fun around such a serious topic of family neglect/abandonment. I also really like that it's about an adult child coming home to not only connect with their folks, but also to restart and reconnect with their childhood town.

Anyone who is offended by a trans person needs to re-evaluate their lives; it's embarrassing and shameful to be so touched by something that has zero effect on one's life. You need to mind your OWN business...or stay mad; it will just end you sooner!

If you're looking for a truly adorable sitcom that illicit's laughs & tears of joy~this is going to be your jam!!!

It's a shame that this show will likely suffer the same fate as a few other international series that have messed with a staggered rollout (see: Orphan Black Echoes). This is currently airing in Israel beginning 12/9/24, while AppleTV+ has not even mentioned a peep about when this season will premiere. This means that hardcore fans will access this by any means (A-Hoy Matey!), while the rest of the good little girls & boys wait until AppleTV+ gets their act together! I presume this delay has something to do with current political tensions in that area of the world; I'm not sure that *this* was the appropriate solution.

This is a darn shame, as part of the fun in watching a thriller as good as Tehran, is discussing, dissecting & guessing what we are all watching each week, on forums like Reddit or other online publications that host fantastic comment sections.

Regardless of this massive oversight, I am thrilled to report that this season starts off incredibly strong. We pick up exactly where we left off, and the momentum just keeps building & building.

There are some fantastic new editions to the cast, including Hugh Laurie, Sasson Gabai, the fantastic Bahar Pars, and Phoenix Raei, who I imagine will be Tamar's next romantic partner.

I won't go into detail about plot specifics because I am not a jerk, but trust me when I say: you'll not want to miss this show when AppleTV+ rolls around to putting it on the rest of the world's TVs.

No, nope, 0, F-; this show is a colossal WASTE OF TIME. This show and it's creators are everything that is wrong with the television industry. They created a show solely banking on a 2nd season in the middle of a strike. The strike was predicted even as they filmed and wrote this. There is NO EXCUSE not to give viewers a complete story. Was it beautiful? Yes. Was the acting adequate to exceptional? Yes. There was a lot to like on the way to the finish line, but boy did they muss it up!!! No way was this season good enough to have the balls to think another season was going to happen. At this point, even if it does, I'm not watching it. This was manipulation. It was pretentious and incredibly presumptuous. I have never been left so actively angry by a work of art. I hope the people involved in the creation of this show never get to work in television again.
