A crime saga that is both stylish and raw at the same time! MANDYA's cinematography perfectly captures the gritty, chaotic world of crime, making it an immersive experience for the audience. The background score intensifies every moment, keeping viewers engaged from start to finish. Danish Bhat and Tatya's chemistry on-screen makes their characters' dynamics intriguing to watch. The story, which revolves around betrayal and survival, unfolds in a way that keeps you guessing. Sanjay Niranjan's direction ensures that no scene feels wasted. This is a film that deserves to be watched on the big screen!
A very well made, sleek, compact and interesting action-packed thriller. The plot is based mostly a thriller drama. This kind of thriller movie has not been seen in Bengali cinema before. It is not over the top movie like many of the South Indian thrillers Gang star movies and even outdoes them in many ways in finesse. The acting is top notch by the entire cast. Especially Ritwick Chakraborty is awesome and surely will get a nomination for a award. The making of the movie can be considered to be at the level of "The Godfather" at a smaller scale. Also the ending is very unexpected and spectacular. Definitely needs to be watch on the big screen.
The attention to detail in Chhaava is truly commendable. From the intricate Maratha attire to the stunningly recreated forts, the film immerses the audience in the era of Sambhaji Maharaj. The production design ensures authenticity, making the world feel lived-in rather than staged. Every visual choice, from the grandeur of war councils to the rustic simplicity of village scenes, reflects the historical richness of the time. It's a feast for history lovers and cinephiles alike.
