I was honestly thinking the show would be terrible, looking at the ratings. Bit the bullet and sat to watched it. Im 5 episodes down and i think, the show gets unnecessary hate.
The shows is about meghan markle showing us recipes, tips and ways to make life a little pretty. She has a guest on, for each episode and they together make these simple sort of dishes alongside wine and banter. What i like about the show is the cinematography and the filming. It's honestly beautifully done! It has a sort of calming vibe to it, which is amazing to watch!
Meghan as a host is great as well! The fashion and the sets are remarkable too. The only gripe i have would probably have would be the tonality in what Meghan says. After a point, the dried flowers, the elevated etc started to get a little preachy or gimmicky. I guess, this would have fit well if it was one episode per week. But with netflix binge watching, it gets a little off putting, cause the message seems repeated in each episode. But yeah sans that but, everything else seems good!
All in all, i'd love to watch another season of this show! I would also love episodes like the one with chef Choi, where the guests also teaches the recipes etc.

How is that a show with a good plot, decent acting, good direction makes it such a slow burn. The series has a good but predictable storyline, and is gripping at times. But what is the most annoying is that it is sooo slow. This show has 10 episodes but it could've easily done well in 6. The back stories of the characters are good but integrated poorly. One scene would be absolutely gripping and then randomly cut to a back story which had absolutely no connection. Those random cuts in the scenes are so jarring and takes away from the viewing experience.
The actors have played their parts well. The cinematography is beautiful as well, capturing the hilly montages perfectly. If only they had edited out the silly backstories and made the plot line more tight, it would've been brilliant . The story inherently is quite engaging but takes too long to get to the point. I was forwarding all the backstory portions because they contributed nothing to the plot line.
Overall a decent series which could have done with lesser runtime and edits.

Before going for this movie, I was 100% sure, the reviews out there are paid. Probably cause as audiences we've been subjected to a lot of cringe comedies over the years! I was humbled real quick, cause this movie is actually worth the praise.
Kunal khemu's directorial debut is witty and outrageous. It starts off slow but quickly picks up pace. It is a run-of-the-mill story about a trio making their ultimate trip to goa, and getting entangled with the local drug overlords. Nothing new about the story , but it is how organically the movie integrates comedy which stands out. The jokes written are situational and not over the top comedy tropes which most cringe comedy movies use. The camaraderie and dialogue delivery between the trio is top notch! The supporting cast was amazingly integrated as well. I had times where I was laughing out loud at the cleverly written dialogues. There were some gags which were slapstick but majority of the movie was witty comedy. This movie is on the lines of comedies like go goa gone, Delhi belly; a very easy family entertainer.
For a first time director I think Kunal has executed his vision to perfection. Definitely worth a watch, if you can catch it in the theatres. Will probably rewatch it on ott as well, some of the one liners are comic gold!
