Quick summary - one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.
I'm not a fan of Jimmy Carrs solo work, but when he's with others, it all falls into place.
I've tried watching other versions of this show, and they tend to not actually be particularly funny. Barely even a smile. This show however had me in stitches.
Seeing a range of comedians trying to make others laugh, and the others trying to stifle a laugh is a simple premise, and this selection of comedians absolutely nails it. I was unaware of a few of them, and now will keep an eye out for their tours as and when they tour.
I can't recommend this show enough.

Fantastic cast.
Great action scenes.
Excellent cinematography.
But it is lacking in everything else.
Claimed to be a comedy. Most of the jokes are obvious, and at best will give most a smile.
It just feels like an action film by the numbers.
Hugh Grant is hamming it up with a lame accent, just as he did in The Gentlemen (which was way better than this film).
Statham just plays his usual self, which means impeccable action scenes, everything absolutely perfect.
It isn't an outright "bad" film, as it is well shot, the action scenes are good. But the comedy is lame, the story feels like something I've seen hundreds of times before.

I'm definitely not in the target demographic for this; neither are my older son or partner. Younger son definitely is.
Excellent performances from all the cast - and they're such a young cast, all at the start of their careers, a bright future for all of them I would hope.
A very well written, story slowly unfolds to the wonderful cliffhanger at the end of season 1. And thankfully they're working on a second season.
Can I come up with any negatives? Possibly a little slow at times, but that's just building up the story.
Looking forward to the second season.
(And how do I pad this review to the requisite length ;)
