I watched the first three shorts and turned it off during the fourth one. I did try to give it a chance but it was pretty evident that this is just more low effort, Netflix slop.
The idea I guess is just stories involving love and death while featuring "robots". I put that in quotations because none of the "robot" characters act or speak like machines. They all talk like trailer trash with gutter mouths and obnoxious use of street slang. The dialogue would be embarrassing if a 13 year old wrote it, let alone an adult.
Didn't see a lot of love during any of these shorts but of course being streaming slop, it's filled to the brim with gore and degenerate imagery. If you like those cheap 3D "love" videos you see advertised on dodgy websites, you'll probably get more out of this show than I did.
The animation, the one thing the show has going for it, is nothing to write home about. It's all mocapped and reliant on cheap filters to appear visually interesting. There's nothing impressive here. If you've watched a cutscene from a game made in the last 15 years or so, you've seen the best this show has to offer. It's lazy, derivative and most of the time, boring to look at.
How this show has so many high ratings from people is beyond me. It's so low effort and downright insulting to anybody with a healthy adult mind. Is it for kids? Surely not with all the sex and violence. So just people who like gore and 3D modeled nudity? Yeah, not for me.
