Absolute mess of a film, nothing makes sence, nothing the charaters do makes sence, it's just an excuse for updated CGI. This is what happens when you let the apes write the script? Never seen a plot consisting entirely of plot holes! Apparently when five chimps crash on a planet they not only survive, they suddenly evolve to outsmart the surviving humans and evolve into various species of ape! Amazing. No thought went into this at all, no attempt to create believable characters, tired cliche lines. I could go on, I won't, I'm too overwhelmed by the rampant incompetence of it all.

Starts off as good as a TV episode, but the laughs fade towards the end, the escape is all a bit silly and too contrived. As usual, some great one-liners from Barker and 'Grouty' remains one of the most threatening characters you'll ever meet in a comedy!
