Boring, muddled story line. Atrocious acting. Annoying characters, especially the son, mother, and boyfriend. The dad is a beta for sure. It felt a bit like a cheesy Christian film trying to be all edgy. If you're looking for scares, not gonna find them here. If you're looking for something deep and meaningful, this ain't it. It feels like it is trying to be like A Ghost Story starring Casey Affleck which is a far superior film.

And that's saying something because Romulus is high on the silly scale. I am soooo disappointed in this series so far. If you have never seen the original Alien film, you might like it. But I don't see how when considering the sloppy writing, and it has none of the signature tension, atmosphere, or brilliant score of the original. It's just goofy so far. Maybe the writers will redeem themselves before it's all over somehow. They certainly have their work cut out for them. We shall see.

I just completed my second play through of Isolation and am still blown away by how great and intense this game is. And scary at times! Probably the most frightening game I've played since Resident Evil on Game Cube. Although, I doubt I'd find that game as scary today! Isolation has amazing atmosphere, attention to detail, and it shines with the spirit of the first Alien film. The only thing I was not a fan of is the mapping system. It could create sooo much frustration at times lol. Isolation still gets a 10 though because of my overall experience of the game. There is nothing quite like it. The xenomorph looks fantastic, the score was amazing, and the ending is insane! Definitely a game for Alien fans or fans of cosmic horror.
