I have become a fan of Jean Harlow just in the last few years because her films have rarely been shown on UK television since I was a child in the 1970s. Recently I bought 5 of her movies on dvd and watched 2 or 3 others on YouTube because they're quite difficult to access here in the UK.
Bombshell is without a doubt Harlow's movie. Lee Tracey is the male lead. I had not heard of him before watching this. I found his voice annoying and he doesn't look good enough to catch a leading lady's eye in my opinion. Franchot Tone is more suited to be the leading man but has a supporting role.
Jean Harlow shines. She is a great comedy actress and knows exactly how to keep the sympathy of the viewers. I just wish the movie had a different male lead. Apart from that it's one of Harlow's best films.

I am in the UK and originally watched Golden Girls when it was shown on Channel 4 in the 80s and early 90s. I loved it then and I still love it now. I must have watched every episode countless times. It is real comfort viewing and lifts my mood when I'm feeling down.
Golden Girls had the perfect cast and writers. Each 'Girl' was played by an incredibly talented comedy actress. Rue McClanahan was the vain Southern Belle Blanche, Bea Arthur the sarcastic, wise divorcee Dorothy, Betty White the naive, kind, not very bright Rose and Estelle Getty as the old lady with no filter after a stroke. They are a perfect team but my two favourites are always Blanche and Dorothy.
If you haven't watched this you should check it out. It was way ahead of its time and it was always so nice to see older women (who looked like older women) enjoying their lives and having fun.

I love this show. I have recently discovered this and the non-celeb version on Discovery Plus. Previously I had been watching other paranormal investigation shows but this is my favourite.
Ian Lawman is a great part of the team as the psychic/exorcist. I recognise him from many years ago in Most Haunted.
Barri Ghai is the tech expert and comes across as a really sweet person.
Jayne Harris is a historian/psychologist on the show and is generally a very soothing person to have around for the people who live in the house and really knows her stuff as a paranormal investigator. Light years better than people such as Yvette Fielding!!
Some of the celebs have been a bit Z list except Toyah and Lawrence Lewellyn-Bowen but mostly interesting. Although I have to say that the scariest thing about the 'Lady Colin Campbell' episode was the lady herself. She would give anyone a fright whether it's day or night.
I can't wait for the new season to start. I have watched seasons 1 and 2 so far and I know they've been filming a new one recently.
By the way, whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this is top entertainment.
