One of the best anime stories out there. Don't let the fact it is an Isekai deter you. In-fact, Re:Zero started as a web novel very early on in the Isekai Genre. Part of me wishes it wasn't considered one because there are so many ppl. That would love this show that automatically shut out all Isekai.
What makes this show special is the writing, character development that feels real, psychological thriller, world building, and an outstanding cast of characters you will root and jump out of your seat when someone comes along to remind them how to love yourself and cherish oneself.
The show doesn't have fear to stray away from tough topics either. The author even shares alternatives of what would happen if the main character chose sin over virtue. Watch this show. It is going to be GOATED as more seasons come out adapting the Light Novel Arcs. Season 3 has started with a bang!

This episode approaches pure perfection. In MHA, Endeavor was 2nd to none in terms of outstanding character writing, even if he never truly beat out All Might for number 1.
I've never seen a show handle how much a family can be broken by a fathers misguided intentions. It was conveyed in a show not tell' manner. For many of us who struggle with family issues, this was the perfect therapy from one of the best written characters - Endeavor.
His background and story was always for him, not built for the full sake of improving other characters. When the full family came togther, even though I knew it was coming, it still hit me so hard. I'll admit the man tears flowed down for a while. I even re-watched this 3 time in a day. It even made me want to reach out to my father, someone I struggle to talk with for most of my life.
I know MHA has a ton of haters and I don't particularly consider this series top tier. But, I always viewed Endeavor and the circumstances around him as some of the best character development and writing I've seen over showing how much pain families can feel when parents are drunk on goals to the point of hurting and neglecting their own family.
Bravo MHA, this episode was breath taking and inspiring. The animators did it Justice. My gosh, the facial expressions alone.... The background art, pacing, feeling of impending distater.. It was all there and done to perfection.
Bravo.

Tower of God, an Anime derived from a Webtoon (Manwha), is a color illustrated manga.
This story is very long and complex. It takes its time showing off the beautiful and mysterious world. Each stage of the tower, one encounter a new environment with different foes. The mystery of the tower is slowly revealed over time, but not always in a bad way. The author of the story, and the anime, do a good job leaving subtle hints and do an outstanding job of 'show not tell'. This story is a slow burn with many unique and interesting characters. Each has their own purpose in the story and there are not many filler characters at all. The show also dives into the history of many characters outside the main character. In-fact, one could argue this has an ensemble cast.
This Mangaka deserves more attention. The author, SIU (Slave in Utero) often leaves his own commentary on each Manga (Manwha) Webtoon panel. This story is the author's passion. The content does have shonen tropes. But, that is okay. This story is a mixture of many genre's. It is okay for a story to have different target markets.
That being said, this mangaka, Tower of God, needs more exposure. It is a captivating story full of mystery, outstanding world building, and an outstanding cast of characters.
