Where to start? Everything is bad, the acting, the writing, the special effects, the none scientific help in making the show ( gasoline breakdown and vehicles will not run with old fuel, nor will electronic work after being zapped with an EMP).
The main protagonist is too slow to survive a swarm of zombies attacking her, and a pistol is a weapon for the unexpected, not for continuous battle with hundreds of rounds fired. Lucy Liu with a sword would have been a much better choice if you wanted a woman for the role.
If you're going to be using vehicles and thousand of rounds of ammo, explain how it works.... find some fuel that doesn't break down, and find ammo, reloading along your way through the zombie masses.

How do you force an unlikely hero upon the populace that has rejected the continuously rejected the same unlikely hero time after time? By acknowledging he's a very bad candidate and having him acknowledge he's a very bad candidate, then have him claim he does want to be the hero, yada, yada, yada!
