I tried to watch "Snow White" from the perspective of a child. "Snow White" is, after all, meant for children. With those expectations, I loved "Snow White". I did see the original 1937 animated "Snow White" when I was a kid. I don't believe I viewed it again since then. So, it has been over 50 years since I saw the original, and I don't fully remember all the plot details. This new live action "Snow White", I believe, is better than the original. Animation was the only technology available to tell such a fantasy story in 1937. With today's CGI, amazing visualization can be mixed with live action in a way that is incredible.
I think they did a great job in the new "Snow White" with the scene where Snow White meets all the animals of the forest. Though I don't have the original side by side to compare, the new CGI scene triggered my memories of the original movie and it evoked fond emotions from my childhood. I loved the music of the new "Snow White". The song "Good Things Grow" is beautiful and conveys the message of the movie. We want to have a world where goodness can thrive, and we what to have the courage to make such a world. I thought Rachel Zegler should get special mention. She has a lovely voice. The "Whistle While You Work" number showed Snow White as a positive and confident influence on the dwarfs.

Do not judge "The Outpost" by the first half of season one. It takes a bit for the story to get going. If you watch all the way to the end of season four, you will be rewarded with an epic story that connects an every unfolding fantasy world and the people in it.
The Outpost has good heroes that care about each other. The Outpost is family friendly so does not have gory violence and explicit sex. I personally prefer family friendly fantasy stories. If writers have to resort to gory violence and explicit sex to tell a story, then are they really good writers? Good writers create believable characters you care about, and "The Outpost" writers do that in spades. Thank you for making a world I loved escaping into and rooting for the good heroes.

"My Old Ass" is a beautiful piece of film art that has a timeless message about the temporariness of all things in life, and to embrace what you have now. "My Old Ass" starts out as a typical coming-of-age, teen angst movie, but the ending blew me away. The artful dialog throughout the movie foreshadows the ending, and the whole movie fits together perfectly.
"My Old Ass" is slow and simple, but that is what makes it so good, and different. It is just people talking at a lake setting. There is no action or violence.
I give "My Old Ass" a 10 because I cried all the way through to the end of the credits. A film has never moved me that much.
