The focus was quite clearly on the vibes with this one. Something about the new series Cybermen in a snowy setting just really works. Throw in several claustrophobic setpieces and the result is a very memorable Doctor Who game.
The Cyberslaves work really well as enemies in the stealth sections, kind of like the nanogene zombies but with those unmistakable steel handles in place of a gas mask. Legitimately creepy.
When I think 'Eleventh Doctor vs Cybermen', this game pops into my head far more vividly than any TV episode.

When I think 'Eleventh Doctor vs Cybermen', this game pops into my head far more vividly than any TV episode.
It's got some nice Christmas spirit but it's quite remarkable how literally half the plot feels tacked on. In hindsight I should have revisited it next year because that's when the episode is set according to the calendar. By the way, where did the snow in the opening shots of Tracy Island come from? Also aren't they cooking the food a little early? Anyway, not unwatchable, but a strange one to end on.
