There are few rules of supernatural/superhero storyline.

Rule number 1. Compelling origin story.

Well, it may sound harsh but there is never a story in this anime. They made this anime for money from the anime canon and furthered the market for Naruto.

Are those anime canon good or do they have a story. No none of them The manga that should be source material But that's only thing praising fanbase. So dive into it. The manga ( with 4900 words per issue) We only knew about the events, not much about the character development. Worst part. It can be easily fit into 3 or 4 volumes.

It's like someone is making things up and pulling the story. It gets even worse when the character touches the dead several times.

Like this story is screaming us to care about these characters or but it is disengaging the audience/readers every minute.

Rule 2. Unique, clearly defined powers and abilities.

Creating a magic system takes time and effort. More efforts are being made to make it even better. But Boruto writers add ability first think about it years later.

I know this manga had 2 writers. First create karma seal then add 20 random abilities, 10 defense and 5 immunities with 20 master level skills, 1000year exp of combat and all states are 1000 plus. And step down at 51 chapter. Then the new writer came and he was high enough to add anything and everything to the Karma seal. All states multiply by 20.

Man, even HXH and JJK have a more understandable and realistic power system than this garbage.

Now what does it mean for arcs when there is no skill to learn or tons unboxed abilities.

Rule 3. Internal struggle. Problems that people struggle with in their minds.

A obstacles that doesn't exist in boruto. So what can I say?

On the name of internal struggle they only have Momoshiki who is inside Boruto's body to provide him all kind of plot armors, Information, warnings, and Avatar State.

However now he is still trap but travel all around village like ghost.

What Boruto call this struggle.

Rule 4. External Threat. There is visual threat in Boruto. They got a giant chakra God. But he is more like a final boss(nothing to do with story or plot). I think The first author made Boruto mary sue. Then made villains to show Boruto's new abilities (separately).

Than chapter 52 came out and According to the second writer, it is a teen rom-com with a love hexagon taking place in one house. For keep power scaling rising he added Amado, A scientist who gives teens planet-level feat powers that cannot be counted, and he forgets to provide himself with any defense. Each month, Amado surprises us with new abilities possessed by those teenagers.

Character development. It's clear that Kawaki developed off page and somehow became a Sigma. In Boruto's view, he has no longer disliked his dad and continues to be the most boring MC in history. Add bonus he is self-absorbed, shallow, aggressive and patronizing.

But it is peak Boruto's personality development. And Boruto receive all kind of development and skills in one ARC. And now he is just getting new ability in per Arc nothing else.

Man, even Rimuru Tempest and Ainz Ooal Gown have a more struggle and better development than this piece of ****.

I even stop asking myself that how much worse this show can get .

Most of episodes are explorer around family drama , best friendo drama and pathetic drama on the name action .

This show is going like 100 episodes of total cringe after that 5 episodes OK to watch.

There are peoples who just watch one episode and if they don't like they it drop immediately .But most of anime watchers can drop any anime if they found 3 or 4 episodes boring in row.. I have respect for these fans they are most loyal and trust worthy fans can found .

I have seen so many fandom and if they found anything boring or senseless they are not watch it again no matter it is anime/show or movie but this fandom is ready to re-watch every single episode of this gigantic boruto series .

But if there is any fan who reach to writer and director of boruto anime then i have request .

Now there is 254+ episodes but still don't remember those 3 characters name that sounds impossible but seriously . First one is half cat and half girl with bossy personality. Second one alway pose like hamster and only way she can fight is screams . Last one is katana girl with 60IQ and 0 observation .

These 3 characters I hate most wherever i see them I stop watching animes for months .

If writer want them on screen that much then give them their own anime that will be fair .
