It did everything you want a Christmas movie, show, or special to do. It made you smile, made you laugh. It made you cry. It took on heavy themes of death and grief, and handled them well. It had themes of family and friends. And it has Kevin Bacon. Honestly, I'm surprised they managed to get him for this. It was a phenomenal special and I will be watching it every year now! I really hope that Marvel continues doing these specials, because Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special have been two of my favorite projects of Phase 4. And, although some things look slightly cheap, they manage to do a good job with CGI, costumes, etc. Considering how small of a production this is. Definitely a must-watch!
This 100% makes it into my top 10 MCU Projects. I loved the black and white stylistic choice and loved how it felt like a 30's-40's style monster movie. I enjoyed how they used more practical effects than CGI- the transformation scene! Man-Thing looked spectacular; I want more of him in the MCU!
One complaint: the actual werewolf looked odd. He walked too much like a human and the makeup didn't look very werewolf-like, it looked more like an extremely hairy human with sharp teeth. Other than that, I loved this! I thought the violent twist was clever and different, yet worked. Will be rewatching!

Alright, I take back last week's review. After watching episode one for a second time and now after watching episode 2, I think that there truly are likable male characters in this show. I think that Marvel is doing a great job of building up their strong female characters. I give episode two an 8/10, it was much better than the first one. The CGI was a little iffy, but you've got to keep in mind that this isn't a huge blockbuster movie on a billions-of-dollars budget. It's just a fun TV show that is character-driven and made for the comedy. Stop overthinking it. Just have fun and watch it without criticizing everything. I think that Tim Roth's performance was astounding and can't wait to see more of him.
Overall, I think that this episode was much better than the first one. The comedy was done better, the fourth wall breaking was more spot on, and it was altogether better quality. Still not quite as good as WandaVision, Loki, or Moon Knight- and definitely not the best show I've ever watched- but it was fun and entertaining. Again, I'd give it an 8/10 and would recommend watching it. Just don't overthink it, watch it as a fun comedy. Try to have fun and you will!
