Before saying anything i would advise you that it's better to go in to this movie blind, it's one of few movies where it doesn't get worse when the mystery gets unraveled.

I didn't expect any more great movies this summer, i thought i would have to wait until october for some solid horror movie to come so i was caught off guard by how good this movie was, i knew from the trailer that it will atleast be well shot and have good set design but i didn't expect to be so enthralled by the story and be so invested in the characters. It is fun, good looking, well paced movie with good story and characters. Suprised it isn't rated higher seeing the other "top notch" movies of this year.

I write this review week after watching Nobody 2, why specifically after this movie and not after Guns Up ? It's because when i watched it i knew that it was cheap knock-off of some movie that i forgot the name of- a movie about a gun for hire who acts or atleast tries to act like an ordinary family man.

This movie is just painfully generic, it came and went and i am suprised it was screened in theaters (world wide no less) considering it got no trailers and i only learned through the "soon" page on my local theater website.

Everytime i watch a new movie in cinemas i have to watch it in a vaccum of time as to not end up dissapointed and it rings true for this year especially as most of the 2025 movies i found to be just ok. Despite that i had high hopes for this movie which weren't misplaced since i really liked this movie as it not only does it hold up without having to put it in the said vaccum, it holds up as john wick movie and might be my favorite of the franchise. The story is simple but engaging and action is similar to john wick but since the character we watch is a newbie it ends up being more messy which makes it more tense and enjoyable, it is also the best looking movie out of the five especially at the final location which gives this movie bit more distinctive look.

Overall there isn't too much to say without going in to plot details but know this, if you have to choose one action movie this year it should be this one.
