There were too many parts in Yellowstone that were simply too common for me to really get into it. I gave it 3 episodes to convince me, and gave up. I need substance. I need to feel anew, every minute. If I wanted anything all too familiar, I wouldn't be watching tv. Yellowstone, for me, was like going to the next fast food joint. All too familiar, the same old ketchup to go with them same fries. 1883, on the other hand, has transported me into another world. An experience of substance, Substance to think, substance to feel, substance to learn. And every frame is so full of beauty. I have long dreamt of a tv show that would become just as high quality in every way as the best of movies. Before 1883, I got what I needed from other shows, mostly foreign, like in the Heimat tv series, but that was German. Here you have a great example of a us tv masterpiece. Let yourself go, cancel everything, turn off your phone, detach yourself from every possible thing that could pull you out of it, and watch. You won't regret it ! Only regret, is has ended. If I ever watch a tv show twice, it will probably be 1883.

Wow am I lucky. Previous episodes were ok. Well done. Interesting. I read a lot and only stick to tv or movies if they entertain me more than the books I am reading. So again I was about to give up on another well made series. But Alas I gave it one last try and, for the first time with this one, both my intellect and emotional side are fulfilled and I am eager to watch the next episode ! Sorry that this is a thank you more than a review ! I think you have to see it to know if it is worth it for you ! Please Severance creators, keep feeding my soul !
