Drag and the queer community as a whole are under attack. Drag Race's quadrennial politically-themed challenges are always fun while instilling a sense of fortitude in the audience. This one may be the best one yet.
This season's is a little different. That's a good thing- Seasons 4 and 12 had a "debate" and Season 8 was centered on campaign ads. This one is neither of those, but instead takes a well-tested formula on Drag Race and injects it with a politically-motivating zing. A song with original verses? Yes- but you've never heard one like this one on Drag Race before. Drag Race now has a catchy anthem they can use to get out the vote.
Drag has and always will be inherently political- this challenge excellently brings to the RPDR stage a form of performance that we've all come to love at pride parades and at register-to-vote drives. In a way, it's surprising that we haven't seen this exact challenge done already on RPDR.
Werk Room conversations are pertinent and insightful and the runway? Mawma. You aren't ready for the looks. All GORGEOUS and jaw-dropping.

A great episode that is a fun watch from start to finish. Very refreshing season: the queen who clearly wins the lip sync each week is the one who's staying. Excellent looks, too! Another successful week for a successful season. Drag talent on display!
The winner of the maxi challenge this episode is well deserved. While the style she went for isn't one I'm super fond of, the artistry and craftsmanship carries it through to the top spot.
As a fan of drag first, and of reality TV second, this episode, and the rest of the season, is giving me everything I want.
Congratulations to the winner of the challenge and to the winner of the lip sync!

A musical episode of Star Trek? It could have been a disaster. However, this cast's charisma and chemistry deliver an excellent and entertaining viewing experience.
Even if you hate musicals, the conflicts and subplots are engaging on their own merit. Every character gets a moment to shine.
This episode is a load of fun and yes, it has moments of cringe, but just enough to make it a good time. A healthy dose of cringe is what Star Trek, and the SciFi genre as a whole, are all about.
One more note: the songs are catchy and are well done! I hope they publish them to Spotify and Apple Music. Yes, there are many show tunes, but several other genres are represented.
