The Gorge is just another typical action flick with some horror elements. What could have been a deeply more intrigued version of earth version of "Dead Space", is converted to cheap "good guys always win" concept with predictable ending. Sigourney Weaver is wasted here as her charachter is just a default bad corporate woman type. She has no deeper motives, just greed and "science". On the other hand Miles Teller and Anya Taylor Joy are both respectable in their roles and they carry out the movie really well. Their dynamic was nice and well crafted through the movie progression. Monsters or Hollow Men as they are called in this movie, have great design. Really, really interesting backstory which I wish was exlpored more. I get that they are elite assasins and marksman but Levi and Drasa deal with them way too easy. As I already said, it could have been much more serious in tone and more stake dependent, but thats maybe because I am a sucker for sci fi horror type. Anyway, a solid entertainment for one night.

I dont know myself, how many times have I watched this movie ? I lost count many years ago. A sci fi classic, one the most badass cast of actors ever assembled on screen, an ultimate creature design and director who knew what he was doing. Result ?

The Predator - a movie masked in classic 80's shooter with guns and muscles all over the place, one liners and cheesy humour. Its evolving to sci fi horror is mastefully done by director John McTiernan and executed in such way that viewer is always at the edge of their seat.

A long intense shots, tilted camera angles, mysterios creature ( that we dont see until very end ), a very good performances by entire cast, Schwarznegger especially ( I think this was his best movie, acting wise ), and I must give praise to late Kevin Peter Hall, who played the Predator and who brought to life such an amazing alien warrior.

I will watch to continue Predator probably until I am alive. Its a pity that none of the sequels, especially newer one, never managed to catch atleast a glimpse of briliance that original had.

"Izolacija" tries to be many different things at once. What started as a really cool horror premise turned out to be a generic "reality show" mess.

Bikovic is one of the, if not the most famous Serbian actor today and he is really, well bad in here. There are certain scenes in movie with him which made me chuckle bcs of how bad this man pulled it off. Seemed like he didnt really care, or they filmed one take and said : "Yea thats a good one".

As for the plot , as I said already, film starts promising. Decent scenery and setup, some spooky nicely filmed scenes and when we reach second half of the movie, all that fails apart.

Most interesting character ( and best actor btw ) was the dude who played Sreten. Too bad movie wasted him, he could have been some kind of Serbian Jason Vorhees.
