Starting from that 1999 "Ananta Bhalobasho" I am now falling in love with his extraordinary hard work even more. This handsome man acts so beautifully. I am constantly fascinated by him.
Barbad is a pure mass class movie. It is a completely unexpected experience for the mass audience. The best movie in the history of Bengali cinema so far is "Barbad"!
Although the story in Barbad is familiar, the director has shown charisma in his great direction. It felt like a nuclear explosion rich in first-class acting with world-class direction and world-class production.
A new horizon was opened in Bengali cinema through Barbad. I will not belittle it as a domestic movie by rating it. I kept it without a rating because I do not want to make a mistake by rating such a pure masterclass movie. Even though I couldn't fully master it when I first saw it on a single screen, it gave me a different experience, so I think it will be a wonderful journey when I see it on a sparkling screen in a cineplex. So far, the midnight show has been running great and the show has been running until dawn in the form of a tsunami.
The domestic market has already collected 25+ crores. Now the industry is walking on the path of a hit. The audience's goal is 100 crores as the first Bengali film. Now let's see what happens.
