Not his best work, maybe because it's been chopped in order to be placed both on Netflix and YouTube, but you're still excited for him. Chris has a lot of heavy-hit jokes and can really rock a room, this special just didn't showcase it as much. Prime example that a comedian's likability matters, because I wasn't even upset at the result. Just excited to see him get better and better cause he's a great guy and naturally funny.

It's no surprise, but this was awful. It's almost unbelievable that no one stopped this from being filmed because there's just absolutely nothing of substance in this whole special. When I'm confused if you've finished telling a joke or not, you're not good at telling jokes. Incredible that even surrounded by the "realest" and some of the great joke-tellers of this era, nobody wanted to keep it real with one of their own.

Long-time YMH podcast listener, big fan of Christina's previous work, but this was as lazy as it gets. One of the golden rules of comedy is that a punchline should never be a face or a noise, and that's all this special consists of. Interesting premises and good set-ups, just to fall flat. She spends most of the special just yelling into the mic and repeatedly scoffing instead of telling an actual joke. I'm fine with setting yourself up as the anti-rule comedy crusader, but you've got to follow that with actually saying something/anything. Keep them high and tight, but mommies gotta be honest.
