RADAR? RADAR? RADAR? - One of the things every new comic writer from the beginning until now does is show different ways his radar looks. Marvel has the ball now. Sound is not enough. I think many of my fellow comic fans would agree that adding the visual aspect of what his radar looks like would add another level to show. His "radar" is another character we have not seen on the screen since Ben Affleck's Daredevil. Imagine the storytelling opportunities that can open up as a result of showing his radar! There are some wonderful examples of radar scenes in Bendis, Brubaker, Miller, and Soule's comic runs. (No disrespect to Mark Waid. I have not read his run yet.) - To conclude... Marvel... if you read this... please give us some radar. It can help elevate your show!
This flick was a cool throw back and started real quick. For a first time director too? ... I was involved all the way to the end. I challenge anyone to write a screenplay then direct that screenplay that takes place in one place and keep the eyes of the viewer on the screen from beginning to end. Well done Mr. Reilly! One a personal note... I had a bad week and was looking for something to take my mind off the stress. This was fun to watch! Ms. Pataky it was cool to see you get in on the action! This was fun! And it didn't take itself too serious. I would like to see Captain Collins in another scenario almost like a John Wick kind of thing. There can be some world-building here Mr. Reilly? Jack Reacher goes to different places.... so can Captain Collins.:) Thanks for the film!
