I used to watch "House" until I couldn't stand watching the abusive behavior of Dr House. This show has the same potential for being great and hopefully, if it continues; will be even better.

I don't think it is a great " medical show" as much as it is a good mystery show. It would be really nice if doctors would use these principles now. It's easy to see how medicine as a business doesn't fit with the philosophy that the person who inspired this show practiced.

I don't like it when television and movies show doctors drawing blood. If they are taught to do it in medical school they don't learn it well and at 60+ years old with chronic illnesses I can tell you I have never had a doctor drawing blood my blood! I have observed doctors watching blood being drawn like they are observing alien life.

I do appreciate the effort to offer an alternative to the vile crap of most television shows but I have problems with the way this story is presented. The wildly inaccurate portrayal of a trained K-9 officer makes me cringe every episode! Did they bother to research at all? K-9 officers are trained specifically so that they claim he is trained in drug sniffing and cadaver skills is a bit of a reach but okay possible. However if he was trained as a cadaver dog he wouldn't bark or dig upon finding a body; he would lay down at the site!and stay until handler moves him.

If he were a drug dog, he would sit upon sniffing the drugs and rewarded as handler steps in to retrieve the drugs.

In the highly unusual circumstances of his becoming a "regular detective " his partner would be still need to familiarize himself with these ways the dog was trained!
