Complete Unknown is just okay-nothing special, and I wouldn't watch it again. Finishing it felt a bit exhausting. I think the decision to make Bob Dylan as "mysterious" as he was in real life prevents the audience from truly connecting with him. We never really see him suffer, and throughout the entire film, he just comes off as a complete jerk.
Timothée Chalamet is a great actor, but it often feels like we're watching a biography about him rather than Bob Dylan. Edward Norton, on the other hand, is always a guarantee-he's the kind of actor who could make us feel something even if he were acting as a rock.
Another issue is that Dylan's romantic relationships in the film feel confusing and underdeveloped. Was this done intentionally to reinforce the idea that Bob Dylan is mysterious? Maybe. But just because a character in the film tells him, "I don't know anything about you," doesn't mean the audience actually experiences him as a mysterious figure.
I did love the theme of musical dogmatism, and the final part of the film was great. But overall, I didn't enjoy it much-though I still recognize that it's a well-made and serious film.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is a very enjoyable film, lighthearted and fun to watch. It introduces Han Solo in a way that is engaging and easygoing. The characters are well-written, but the movie fails to make the audience truly connect with anyone outside of Han Solo and Chewbacca. Also, the reasoning behind Han's last name feels like lazy writing.
That being said, the story is decent and makes sense. Disney's influence is evident in the humor and comedic moments. However, unlike what happened with Marvel-where excessive comedy often undermines the seriousness of the characters-here, it actually works. The tone fits both the character and the story.
The gambling scenes could have been developed better, in my opinion. Simplifying them would have made them more engaging and emotional, rather than just feeling like random gambling moments where the audience struggles to understand what's actually happening.
It's not a groundbreaking film, nor does it aim to elevate Han Solo to the legendary status we know him for, but it definitely delivers two hours of chill entertainment.

This movie is not a comedy designed to make you laugh out loud, but rather one that makes you giggle and relate to the characters. I feel like the chemistry between James and Will Smith works perfectly, and I personally prefer Will in these kinds of movies rather than action films. Hitch really sticks with you and leaves a lasting impression after watching it, which is why I rated it a solid 8-the whole thing just works for me.
I would have liked to see more of the character's dating coach persona, as I feel it isn't explored sufficiently. However, the story as it is still feels satisfying. Great watch I highly reccomend this.
