Great TV series that reminds us of how Russian system works. Deception,propaganda and flip on media by using second hand countries. These people work as extension of former KGB. A lot of this series is based on real life tense situations at Polish border...At today's time it's important form of art expression that these people are not Polish friends...Not European friends...or anyone else' friends that strive for freedom and independence. They live behind the iron fence moving and influencing countries as the chess pieces...Best Polish TV drama out there. For anyone who likes mix of politics and spy games LeCarre style. Hoping for second season........

I have been watching Korean dramas and movies for over 20 years and I have watched Romance at least dozen times. Everything in this movie is top notch. Alcholic divorced cop who won't bend to rotten society and woman who caged herself in physicaly abusive marriage to wielding power of same corrupted society to help her family,begin affair and all their outlook shifts. Now they dream of escaping to Argentina and living lowly happy life far away from all injustice. Movie is equally critique on corruption as is Love story. Characters are tired and damaged and once they find each other world around them cease to exist. Seemingly mismatched but once comparing scars making each other better and stronger. Music is heartbreaking as is story itself...Cinematography, unforgettable. I will never forget transition between two lovers in moment of suffering,he beaten and overdosed-destined to die,she tied to hospital bed-crying pumped with drugs to be sacrificed for political marriage. And third act-ode to 80's Hong Kong Cinema and classic love stories...Romance is all what we forget about movies trying too much to please others.

Been Dune fan for more than 30 years. Read every single book including Brian Herbert extension universe. What it really pleases me is writers ability to pick best parts of mediocre books,improve dialogue and spice it up for television. Two thumbs up HBO...Please...Please...Give us more Dune adapted material...And ignore Dune movie fans.... DRAMA,DRAMA,DRAMA...Brain food is what we need...If no second season please consider GREAT HOUSES,LEGENDS OR LETO II BOOKS.

Like Dune movies but not necessarily love them for what they did to real fanbase. Spending 5 hrs in front of screen doesn't make you expert to say this is not Dune or this is it. Try reading books(even mediocre ones)for 30 years again and again and loving them with each ounce of heart. Any addition to Dune universe is welcomed...This one if all goes well.... Might even be loved.
