Today I went to the theater to watch Stree 2. What a movie! I really didn't expect any Indian sequel to deliver this kind of madness. It is better than the previous one. First of all, everyone in the theater chuckled, and the theater was fully packed after a long time for a commercial Hindi movie. Let's start this review by discussing the good and the bad parts of the movie.
Bad: I didn't find any bad aspects because I was so engrossed in the movie. I was particularly focused on Shraddha and Tamannaah, and the comic elements 😅. Jokes aside, people who haven't watched the previous parts-Stree 1, Bhediya, and Munjha-might feel confused in some parts. This could make it difficult for them to understand certain scenes and jokes. Also, not all the comical humor works; you can't laugh at every joke in a comedy movie, despite it being Hera Pheri 🙃.
Good: Now, talking about the good aspects, there are a lot of things I can count on. The screenwriting, play, and visuals are impressive. Yes, there are some scenes with poor CGI and VFX, but if you're not focused on them, you'll miss it. The actors' performances are really bombastic. You can't say this is just Shraddha's, Rajkumar's, Pankaj's, Abhishek's, or Aparshakti's movie-everyone gave their best. Even Tamannaah added significance to this movie, not just an ordinary cameo. The best part of this movie is that it never loses its magic. It's great to see that this sequel even overshadows the original one. At the end, it teases the next installment and connects the whole universe very well, building anticipation.
That's all from my end. I recommend going with your friends and family to watch this and enjoy it. It's a full theater experience movie.
I would give this movie an 8/10.

Today I watched Peepli Live. First of all, I heard about this movie through songs by Indian Ocean, and I didn't realize it was produced by Aamir Khan.
Let's talk about the movie. Peepli Live is set in Peepli and is based on true events. The movie is all about the struggles our farmers face to survive. Politicians and the media only care about their own benefits; they don't care whether farmers live or die. I felt like this is how we will become a superpower one day.
Now, let's discuss the good and bad parts of the movie.
Good Points: The comic timing and simplistic approach of the movie make it so special. I felt like I was watching the Panchayat web series because some of the same actors are in it. The cinematography, costumes, camerawork, and performances are all top-notch. The movie ends on a heartwarming note, and I really felt bad for the farmer Natha.
Bad Points: There isn't any particular bad point, but I felt the movie's length was too short. They could have added a lot more depth and content while maintaining the same comic tone.
Overall, I can assure you that it is a movie worth watching. You should give it a try. I would rate it 8/10. I really liked this movie.

Yesterday, I watched "A Quiet Place: Day One." When it started, I thought it might be a social commentary movie because I saw it listed on Google as a Horror/Sci-fi genre. The movie begins with a quote: "New York City gives off an average of 90 decibels, which is the volume of a constant stream." I really appreciate how the director blended Sci-fi, social commentary, and a little bit of horror. Personally, I didn't find it very scary.
Good Part: The movie is really good, and I think it's worth a try. I know many people say it's a trash movie based on reviews I read on social media, but I watched it and now I can share my own opinion. The CGI, visuals, background music, and camera work are excellent. The best part is that we only hear dialogues in the first 10-15 minutes; the rest of the movie is mostly silent, which fits the title perfectly. The movie makes us realize how noisy our world is. As an ambivert who craves peace, this movie touched my soul.
Bad Part: I didn't find anything particularly bad, but many people feel that the movie doesn't offer anything new. They think the mix of social commentary with Sci-fi makes it boring because it feels natural and slow, like watching a high-budget YouTube video, similar to those made by Mr. Beast.
If you want to pass the time, you can give it a try. I'd rate it 7/10.
