Kim Soo-hyun, is a dear, a darling and delightful to see him here in this refreshing drama filled with one-of-a-kind comedic delights: facial expressions (riotously funny), body language, puns and any moment/unexpectedly fun one -liners to full-blownout conversations. He is a delight; the female lead is outstanding, feminine, intelligent and beautiful.

I haven't seen a drama of this caliber since " My Love from the Stars and "The Moon Embracing the Sun" and "It's Okay Not to Be Okay." It's only two episodes in, too! What a refreshing delight! The OST serenades the souls! 10/20 so far! I'm so stokes by it!!!

The female lead nailed it as Elisabeth! In the series, Elisabeth is independent, nonconforming--a breath of fresh air! She reminds me of Elizabeth Bennett of Pride and PREJUDICE with actress, Jennifer Ehle. Actress Devrim Lingnau captivates and lights up the screen whenever she appears. The script, the acting, the music, the cinematography, everything is a 10! I want season 2 right now! What a GEM!

I didn't think I would enjoy this series as much as I did. I received the notification from Netflix way earlier in the day, but I delayed.

At first I wanted to hear the actors in their native tongue, so I began watching with subtitles. The fabulous acting of Ms. Lingnau caught me off guard, so I switched to the English dub. I'm so glad I did because I would have missed the nuances and the class A acting by her and even from the minor characters. Netflix, please renew this delightful series.

To everyone who's reading this, I highly recommend you watch "The Empress". It is truly tastefully filmed.

The Woman King is empowering, uplifting and mesmerizing. It is a roller-coaster ride that goes from intense swords fighting with dizzying sequences of these powerful women to tender sisterhood moments. Viola Davis delivers big and the breakout star: Thuso Mbedu is fierce, compelling and also nuanced. What a performance by her! All the actors perform well. The music, like "The Hours", enhances the momentum and the action scenes of the film; the music is also a character. Do not be afraid to see this film. It covers a late period during the transatlantic slave trade. I will not spoil it for you. All I can say is that the film is a MUST SEE. Women, go see it. These Amazonness will ensnare and uplift you. Girls 13 and up, go and see the film. This film comes at the right time, just like House of the Dragon. Women can also carry a movie or TV series. 10/10!
