First of all, Yasinski is a great villain. Just so cold and unhinged! And the chemistry between ackles and camacho is off
the charts. This episode is full of interest and excitement, and some beautiful shots- specially during the desert scenes. I was on the edge of my seat multiple times and there were also excellent cameos to boot. The action scenes were thrilling and I am just so invested in the characters, especially Meachum. Ackles just has a talent for playing tortured tough guy and the pathos that bleeds through is compelling. And he nails the amazing action sequence (this is a spoiler free review so just hang on tight!)
Wanted to start this but my partner was unavailable. But I'm happy to say I'll
be pleased to rewatch because I couldn't wait! The show gets off to a quick and action -packed start, and the ensemble casts engaging chemistry held my interest... (Ackles is a standout) but all around the cast is great and especially in the first episode they did a good job of character building.
The cinematography is nicely done with some interesting choices and the soundtrack is also great. I'm Excited to keep watching. It's not breaking a ton of new ground regarding plot but the characters keep it feeling interesting.
