It feels like a comic book movie come to life . James Gunn did deliver again . I'll start off with the positives here first .
The acting was good, action scenes and VFX work was great . And the world just felt very lived in , which when ur starting a new universe with hero's already active then it's a great thing . Prob my favorite part of the movie is just the characters, they're all just super likable and or just super well done . James just did a really good job of giving Terrific, Guy Gardner , Hawkgirl and Jimmy Olsen all a moment to have some shine but yet not take away anything from Superman or lex. David as Superman just makes him feel very approachable, like he just makes him feel like "you know what I could see this Superman help an old lady cross the street or grab a cat from tree " with just his demeanor and vibes . And krypto was perfect. It is a nice , hopeful start to this new dc universe
Some of the bad was the pacing was off at times , like there was some scenes at the end where u would have an action scene then cut to Clark at the farm with his parents . And it does feel like the beginning of anything , it feels more like a 2nd movie in a trilogy than anything cause by this point Clark has been Superman for years. It would have been nice if it was like similar to The Batman or homecoming where it's not an origin (which I'm glad it isn't , we don't really need to see his origin again ) but their still new enough at the here job where their struggling with the balance of their lives and just messing up.

Adolescent is a pretty solid show , the best part is the acting . All of them put in some really great performances especially the boy . Just naturally going from how he was in ep 3 to basically a tantrum multiple times throughout the episode, without it feeling forced was great acting . Another thing is it's just basically one long one shot , which was really cool. My 2 fav episodes are ep 1 and 3 , where they're interviewing . You can just feel the tension and stressfulness in the air
I just didn't like the ending . I get it's supposed to be like real life , and real life these situations are cruel and there isn't gunna be a huge plot twist to make you go "wtf" out of shock most of the time . But it did make it feel kinda pointless since it was basically on the nose abt it the whole time and literally shows u in episode 1 that he did it . It just feels pointless without a big reveal and kinda anticlimactic. And I do get it is based on the multiple stories from the UK of teen boys killing teen girls , which is so tragic but they shoulda shown ways of just how to stop it. Like give an episode of what their life was like before he got arrested , and have him show some signs of him having a bit of a tantrum (outside of the scene in episode 3) and just not being in a good mental space cause of the bullying that led to him doing that.
