Storyline, direction, acting, background music - all of it is absolutely perfect. Keeps you at the edge of your seat. Hoping there is a season 2 of this drama as the ending definitely showed there is lot of potential in this show. The actors portrayed in the M and A team as well as the Sanin corporate are well cast. Especially the M and A attorney. Even the guest actors who are featured in various episodes are good. Hats off to the casting director.

Aa someone who has seen corporate closely, this drama captures it well. I would say this is directors one of the best work. I enjoyed this more than One Spring Night and Something in the rain.

Storyline: Episodes 1 to 5 : superb. It hooks you in and can binge watch.

Episodes 6 to 10 : decent Episodes 11, 12 : worst. Can't imagine it is the same drama.

Why does it still get a 7 rating: Acting: top notch from everyone involved in all the episodes. Especially the leads. Their chemistry is off the charts.

Music: suits the drama perfectly. You can listen to it in loop. See the light song from the drama is one of the best ones that has come out recently.

Cinematography: extremely well done on how they depict different moods and settings Direction : Saves the weak Story line across the episodes.

Acting: Great by leads and supporting cast

Costumes: droolworthy and an absolute delight

Initial episodes 1 to 4: good watch that build anticipation

Episodes 5 to 7: decent

Episodes 8 onwards: cringeworthy and avoidable

Classic example how a great start became mediocre and was spoiled due to unnecessary plot twists and diversions.

After episodes 8 onwards the storyline, the direction, the editing - all seems to be a giant letdown.

Still unable to understand why the hype behind this drama and why is it one of the top viewed dramas of 2024.

Overall recommendation: avoid if you can. There are better kdramas out there.
