I thought it was a great movie. If you go in with the mindset that this is the pilot episode of a series, you will understand that the characters will be fleshed out more as the series progresses. I thought it had a good message as well about loving thy neighbor especially in a survival situation otherwise we're no different than animals. It definitely explored some tough decisions one would be faced with in an apocalyptic situation and stressed the importance of seeking Godly wisdom. Many of the bad reviews I see are angry about faith being included in the story but let's be real, if you're in a survival situation, you'll probably be asking God for help. There's no atheists in the foxhole as they say.

Great movie! In an age of over the top cgi sequals ad nauseum and 2 dimensional, cliche characters this movie stands out. It actually has heart and hope which is missing for the most part in today's Hollywood. I thought it was an inspiring movie, well done and well acted. Don't let the critics and users who leave 1 star put you off. I think there's an issue among many critics and reviewers that cynically and harshly judge faith based movies because it doesn't align with their worldview. If the movie didnt mention God it would have had a higher critic score which i think says more about those people than the movie. This is a great feel good, inspiring movie that has a great message.

I had no idea two guys talking in a room could be so entertaining. Sean Patrick Flannery was very convincing in his part which was really two parts. I simultaneously was horrified by his character Nefarious and pitied the other character Edward. In a society that increasingly ignores the spiritual realm this movie makes you think and consider the spiritual effects of our actions for sure and how regular people could be capable of such evil. It was definitely boldly written and well done. They managed to attain suspense and creepiness without over the top gory horror imagery that usually goes along with movies about supernatural evil. I will see it again for sure.
