I came into this season with low expectations, and the first few episodes didn't really hit the mark for me, then it started getting better and better until we got this absolute gem of an episode. A perfectly concocted mix of nihilistic humour, exestential ideas and brilliant writing made this by far my favorite episode of the season, and arguably one of the best episodes of the entire show, I came out of it with the same feeling I had after watching the 'vat of acid' episode, and I am so happy that the writers and new voice actors have really pushed past all the troubles and delivered an excellent season that I think turned out to be more enjoyable than season 6. I hope that they will keep up the good work, and I look forward to season 8!
I think most reviews here let the show speak for itself and although I have never written a review before I will make an exception for Andor. Becuase this is simply put the best TV show I have ever seen. I think it is almost entirely down to Tony Gilroy, his writing blew us away first in rogue one and now in Andor and I just don't think I want to watch a star wars show that he's not involved in ever again. I would go so far as to say that this TV series has transcended the original Star Wars that george lucas created and formed the basis for something entirely new, a darker grittier approach that all of us who watched the films as kids can appreciate now that we are adults and have seen the horrors that this world has to offer, and how it treats people (I dont just mean the star wars universe). I think Andor is more than just a piece of art, it's an evolution of the very thing that drew us to this show in the first place.
