This film started out well enough.
But then things just start to happen and there isn't any REAL explanation why, and at the very end, the earlier events become even more mysterious not making sense at all.
This movie was made to tick boxes for the modern era, but was just a waste of a movie.
The plot twist really doesn't matter and doesn't do anything to keep you drawn in, and I'm not really sure why its rated R. 15 would have been good enough.
The Grandma from the current period had the best acting. Along with the neighbour that decided to become a hero absolutely NO reason. But to be fair, his ultimate combo was pretty neat.
Ultimately this film was made to tick boxes. You get a bit of everything including "border crossing" .... To be honest, I wish I could scrub my brain of this memory.
Looks like it had a decent budget looking at the camera shots and set.
I want to say its complete trash, but it does have a certain charm about it.
Also some of the main characters Hollywood style B movie lines are terrible.

The first 30 minutes of this movie will really captivate your attention. You'll be asking so many questions about "How, why, where when" etc.
I genuinely liked the movie up to a certain point, but then the movie just seems to lose itself and a lot of steam. Its hard to tell whether this was supposed to be ONE entire film or an anthology.
This movie seems to be a sexually charged, roles are reversed, weird movie, where the writer AND producer wanted you to see the World through a lens where the norm is trash and must die, and the weird (un-colourful) reigns supreme in sex, flesh & death and must remain together because they are somehow special and different.
The main issue here, is that within their race for pushing this agenda, the movie (which could have been good) just becomes a mess of ideas where a group of weirdos are trying to portray themselves as heroes to some lost sexual cause.
The ending is just a VERY BAD take on the "Triangle" movie from 2009. All very pointless and not explained well enough. This movie could easily have been better with just a LITTLE bit more explaining of the Beast/monster, and how ONE character becomes another etc.
I think this film was a wasted opportunity at doing a legit Horror movie. A movie like this probably wouldn't have seen the time of day if it was just a standard Drama.
