Great story, great characters, great acting, great ending, but one tiny flaw. Pacing.

I think Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz are great, and they definitely deserve all the recognition they've gotten.

I think the story was very very well written, with plenty of character development. I just think that the character development should have been more in depth on certain characters. The Basterds should have had more backstory, I wish I got to see more of characters like The Bear Jew, he was very underutilized.

This is genuinely the bloodiest movie I have ever seen, but in the case of Jesus, there is no dramatizing it. As a Christian who has studied the Bible for many years, I know how terrible the death of Jesus was, but my goodness, the visualization is something I wasn't fully prepared for.

The makeup department truly needs a raise, there are so many injuries portrayed and they all seem real. With a $30M budget I am very impressed. I am also deeply saddened this did not win any Oscars. I am slightly disappointed it isn't in English (the only version I found was in Aramaic), but words beyond subtitles are not required to see the story given.

If you are a Christian, please watch. If you are not, this still gives a story of a man who was treated unjustly.

The story is great, with great twists. That actors are great. The scenery and cinematography is absolutely incredible. But the dialogue and the way everyone communicates is so bland it almost makes you tired while watching it. If they could fix that this show would be amazing. The first few episodes are very boring, but it eventually picks up and becomes quite interesting.

It's worth watching if you can live with being bored.
