Pavish Narayanan's performance in his latest outing leaves much to be desired. His portrayal felt amateurish, lacking the finesse and depth expected of a lead, especially in emotionally charged sequences. The attempt at comedy was poorly timed and often fell flat, while the overall narrative sequencing was disjointed and confusing.
The film attempted to explore an emotional rollercoaster of love through two overlapping triangular relationships. However, instead of enriching the plot, the added complexities felt forced and diluted the emotional impact. The use of an additional catalyst in both relationships not only muddled the storyline but also risked sending the wrong message to the audience.
What's truly disappointing is the underutilization of seasoned talents like Sarath Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, and even the promising Anikha. Their presence deserved a stronger script and direction. One can't help but imagine how much more compelling the film could have been had Dhanush taken on the lead role himself.
If there's one redeeming element in the film, it's the beautifully composed "Golden Sparrow" track - a rare moment of brilliance in an otherwise forgettable experience.
In the end, the film unfortunately feels like a squandered opportunity - a letdown that neither justifies its star cast nor rewards the viewer's time.

A true Masterpiece.
It couldn't have been put any better, to bring the dark side of how a good movie is destroyed, by those who decide the fate of movie not by the quality or the content of the movie, but instead by media outlets.
How often do we see a good balance of a review, that summarises and evaluates the true content of the movie. We even failed to realise the sweat, hardwork and true efforts of the entire cast put in a good film, while they are shunned under a dampener, destroying not just the time and money, but the faith, confidence and love of the artist for a beautiful rendition.
Chup, has truly bought out boldly the abstruse side of what the film industry goes thru. You have movies with such poor and weak content, that are made into a superhit, while those that are indeed a gem, are thrashed down.
Splendid acting by DQ and done undue respect to the role. He is probably one of those finest actors and the only few, who can take such strong scripts, while making it truly enigmatic with such amazing flavours.
Must watch for every movie buffs.

Elongated script for a movie that had no true length. Not sure, what the director was even trying to depict, is it the focus on the characters or the poor script. Sheer waste of good talents. Nivin and Dharshana were wasted with hardly a zilch to add much into the story.
The music was one of the worst torment of the movie.. there was absolutely no sync to whatsoever of the scene or the music bring played.. it was as though, the music director was on a rolled out budget, that he blew the music only on a trumpet that was pathetically composed.
There were so many loose ends, that at some point it leaves you wondering, what is even happening.
Please don't watch. Not worth a single dime.
