Why does every episode have to have Trump in it? All they got is this one joke? Thats why the late night shows have had an accelerated death....they have one joke...Trump. Im sick of seeing the same joke over and over and over again. I'm not one of those people that hates Trump so much, that i have to see a joke about him 24/7 to feel better about my life. Mix it up, please.
The episode actually started out well, and then of course, Trump. It's lame, man. I still watch all the old episodes, so I guess a couple of bad seasons still keeps their overall average high. Just disappointed that they're basically phoning it in, or are afraid to upset the Hollywood crowd, who they used to ruthlessly make fun of, because they don't want to miss out on the invites or something.

Summary:
Watch news. Spend a day writing something based on the news. Bring in the team to animate and do voiceovers. Air on Comedy Central. Their formula has gotten really dull and predictable. One of the best things about Southpark was unpredictability over the top based humor. This is too predictable. It's not talented. I mean, this episode didn't even have an ending. The first two episodes are just not very good. BUT Parker and Stone may be geniuses in the way that they know they can get a group of hyped up lefties to come and say their show is the best, based solely on the insult politics content. That's why a number of these positive reviews came prior to the airing of the episode. People actually wrote reviews based on a 5 second trailer. What?!? I would have loved to have watched these episodes with the people who think this is comedy gold. See them laugh, then ask them why they thought that particular scene was funny. No way, could they give an answer beyond, "well, it makes fun of Trump, and I like that." I mean, that's fine and all, but that's not creative and it's a stale joke. It's been done over and over and over again. If anything, Southpark is like 8 years too late for that joke. People are just bored with it, and want original comedic content. Well, anyone that's not obsessed with politics wants that. My favorite reviews are those from other countries who are like, "I don't get it. It's not funny." Those are the most pure and accurate reviews out there. Because they're right. They're looking at it from a non politically biased position, and are simply looking for a joke. But can't find any.
Oh yeah, I got the "Fantasy Island" joke, but man, I was like 1 year old when that show aired. How many people didn't get that reference, but laughed anyway? That show was off the air like 40 years ago!! Might as well have the Love Boat and Leave it to Beaver references next. Oh well, I know how this will go....vote it down. I don't care. But no way is this episode, nor the one prior, a better episode than any episode in the first 15 years. YET these episodes rank higher. Sure. Additionally, these episodes already surpass, in the amount of total reviews, than the vast majority of reviews for episodes that aired decades ago. Gee, I wonder why. I'm going to rewatch Tires and Tacoma FD and forget I watched this awful mess.
