This movie made me laugh; it made me cry; it gave me all the feels. I planned on watching this in installments (usually, I watch 20 minutes of a movie or a show at a time during meals). But once I started watching this, I could not stop.
When the film started, I thought Kartik Aryan is just playing the character of a jokster similar to his previous films (like shahzada), but he surprised me as he evolved into a more emotionally deep charatcter. But more than him, I was taken aback by Kiara Advani's fine performance. This character must have been emotionally draining, and she playes it exceptionally well (I will be disappointed if she doesn't win the Filmfare for this movie). Kudos to the director for bringing out such fine performances from leads as well as the supporting cast which was also superb.
I highly recommend anyone and everyone to give it at least a one-time watch.

Sure, it's a "time-pass," movie; sure, thee's no deeper meaning; sure, they only scratched the surface and could have explored the human-A. I connection in greater depth. But, this feel-good comedy had multiple scenes that me laugh-out-loud only because of how convincing Kriti played the character of a robot.
If you've watched the trailer, you are already familiar with the premise. Shahid Kapoor looks more relaxed as compared to some of his other roles where he's come off as looking more up-tight/ insincere. Dimple Kapadia is on a roll since making her comeback to mainstream movies with Pathan, Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, and let's not forget, the action-packed, high-octane thriller series, "Saas, Bahu, aur Flamingo" (incidentally, her co-star from the series, Ashish Varma, also stars in this movie in a small but very effective comedic role). Dharmendra is fine but looks his age (and, it may be just me, but I thought he might be having some difficulty speaking full dialogues). However, the star of the show, without a doubt, was Sifra (or Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation). Kriti Sanon lights up the screen in each scene; she plays the role of the robot so effortlessly and so convincingly that I could not help but laugh-out-loud at numerous, classic mix-ups caused by the robot misunderstanding human commands. The only scene where Kriti falls short, through no fault of her own, is where she fails to pull-off the iconic dance scene of the impeccable, Madhuri Dixit, from her movie, "Beta". But then, Madhuri's facial expressions remain inimitable to this date, so, one can't really fault Kriti for that. I know Kriti bagged multiple awards for her role in "Mimi," and, in my opnioin, she desrves similar critical acclaim for her exceptional performance in this quirky rom-com as well.
