This episode was genuninely good, as well as really weird. It has both some of the BEST and WORST parts of the whole show combined. It's strongest aspect is easily it's main plot, with actual tension, decent jokes and amazing fights. Striker was a bit of a downgrade, but it's more so him being now the butt of the joke instead of him making jokes at people's expense. Honestly, if this episode was just that, it could've been a 9/10. HOWEVER, the B plot kills any momentum the plot carries, as well as breaking the tone and overall pacing. Easily the worst part of the whole episode. It's not as bad as Seeing Stars' 2nd Act, but it comes close. Overall, 7/10.

I don't hate Season 2 as much as other, but I can see the problems. This episode however, ties really well with Ozzie's, making Stolas and Blitz childhood Friends tho... That was kind of a weird move, as was making 60% of the episode a flashback, which REALLY damages the episode's pacing. On top of that, the comedy is not great and the S scene was uncomfortable tbh. BUT, the drama was on point and Stella was a great villain. Being one-note is not the same as being a bad villain. ALSO, Owl in a cage is a masterful musical number and the Stolas VS Stella scene is in my top 5 best scenes in the show. So yeah, really good start to a flawed but fun season.

Seeing Stars is easily the weakest S2 episode so far. The jokes are mostly funny and the characters are still fun to watch(with Blitz having excellent comedic timing). However, the episode really faulters in pacing, tone and overall execution. I feel like it started very well with a really good first act, but the second act makes a complete nosedive with lightning fast pacing, massive tonal shifts and an overbloated script. The third act is mostly fine but still feels rushed because despite the fast pacing it feels like NOTHING happens in this episode. I still think it's pretty decent but the bad thing hold it back so much.
