"Hound's Hill" (original title "Wzgórze psów") is an excellent Polish dark drama about some tragic events occurring in the small Polish town Zybork. Watching the trailer may give the impression that it is some kind of mystic dra-ma, but it is not. The drama is about people and how they relate to different events that has occurred in Zybork a long time ago. In the first episode you get to know the different characters which can be a bit complicated and in the last episode everything gets clear. The end is unpredictable.
And please watch this drama in the original language, Polish, with subtitles in English or whatever language you prefer. (I watched it with Swedish subtitles.) Otherwise, you will miss out the excellent acting and the atmosphere in the drama.

The Dutch army was guilty of systematic and extreme violence during the Indonesian War of Independence, more than 70 years ago. The Dutch government knew about this and did not intervene. That is the main conclusion of a large-scale scientific study launched in 2017.
This movie is not a documentary but a drama but it shows how the Dutch were behaving in Indonesia and the reason why they did what they did was the enormous natural resources in the area.
I can understand that some Dutch viewers of this movie do not like the truth. They probably are ashamed. Still, even the Dutch have accepted the historical facts.

Watching this series is a waste of time. The plot is bad, the directing is bad and the acting is bad. The whole story is totally unrealistic and some of the characters are redundant. The character "Line", the daughter of the main character, the policeman William Wisting, who seems to be allowed to enter every crime scene whenever she wants and she also has full access to the police station which is very strange because at least in Sweden uninvited visitors are only allowed acces to the reception. After a while I started skip the scenes were "Line" appeared because they didn't add anything to the story.
Maybe viewers from counties outside Scandinavia find Larvik exciting and exotic but as living in Sweden Larvik is like any Norvegian city with a port.
I watched the series in the original language but with subtitles in Swedish, which actually was not necessary since the Norvegian language used in "Wisting" is very simple.
