Same old tired trope of rich people are evil, unkind, and stupid, while the know it all teenagers are suppose to be the righteous heroes. Cadence thinks she's smart and deep with her poetic ramblings but instead it's eye rolling and cringeworthy. I know I'm an adult (watching it with my teens), but geez, teen movies and shows can be GOOD if written well. The last episode is absolutely ridiculous, when you finally find out what exactly happened that I laughed out loud. Seriously, I can't even put into words how ridiculous it was. All the teens are gathered around Cadence like, oh no! She figured it out, and she's sobbing and screaming and it's all just such a cop-out. Anyway, I gotta be pickier about what I spend my time watching, cause geez, this was a waste of it.
