As indicated in the title, I thoroughly enjoy Court Cam. It's compelling, informational and very entertaining. Dan Abrams does a fantastic job as the narrator. Something I find interesting (This is merely an observation, it's not bad or good), I noticed that a lot of the incidents covered are out of Michigan. I agree with the consensus that there are A LOT of commercials. However, having Xfinity as my cable service provider offers a workaround. Because I work during the times Court Cam airs, I can pre-record the episodes to watch at a later time. This allows me to fast forward through the commercials, let them play should I need to step outside. A & E produces some quality shows. I'm keep up the good work.
Cold Justice is an extremely compelling show. I'm not 100% sure I like Ms. Siegal as a prosecutor (she's committed prosecutorial misconduct in a highly controversial and complex murder case years ago. She with held important evidence from a suspect's defense team which had a major impact on the outcome of the defendant's trial. I believe the defendant was eventually granted a new trial. The defense team was then able to show there was reasonable doubt. The conviction was over turned and the defendant was set free. Not sure if he was exonerated or not but we was released from prison after serving years in prison. However, in this show casts a new light on her. She portrays someone who''s dogged and determined to get justice for the loved ones who feel they've been forgotten in their plight to get justice for the person who no longer has a voice. That determination and grit is nicely tempered with genuine compassion and empathy. Even though the show doesn't tour a cast of all star journalists/reporter/narrators the likes of Dateline. It still moves at a good clip. It doesn't take 30 minutes to explain something that could have taken 5 - 10 minutes. British crime docu-series are NOTORIOUS for taking an hour to explain something that could have been depicted in less than half of that time.
