The political situation adds to the background and affects our protagonists and friends lives, in unexpected ways, while the events develop in several fronts at the same time.

The characters grow continue, its so refreshing to see. No stereotyped empty characters, even the support char. Have their own story and reactions.

This drama is so high quality in every sense!! 100/100.

Oh the injustice, the corruption and the greed, crushing the innocents and subverting the reality.

Wang Yibo acting is superbe, he is flawless in every step and stage, his expressions, body language, the portrayal of Wei Ruolai is so believable that you can feel what is happening. I would rate 100 if possible!!

Thhe overall production, every detail is taken care of. The settings, every room we visit in every house, has the furnishing, decorations and ambiance approriate to convey the story. It is impressive for a drama, such cinematographic quality.

Every character is fleshed out and there is development.

The thing about not writing spoilers is, the episodes are so packed with events that it is difficult!

In this episode we see character development for main and supporting roles, we also get a big surprise (and not a good one, for me).

There is a lovely dinner, where we see another aspect of the society in that era.

We see treason and corruption, compromising future events that will affect Wei Ruolai.

We see darkness growing strong in one soul. When it lashes out it has the potential to be explosive. I wonder how it will go!

This drama is so good in showing misery and ambition of the human heart.
