As many people know that season 1 covered vol 1,2 of the light novel. Many people thinks the plot is bad,not worth watching. I personally am disappointed in the way they had put the story, They had put the past in middle of the present. But if you read the light novel you will understand the story. I think the season 2 will cover vol 3,4,5,6 of the light novel. And those who think the story (season 1) should have covered 1or 2 more vol of the light novel then, the fun would have been ruined. ✨*Spoilers ahead*✨ Actually, when the four of them actually discovers how siesta died (end of vol 2). The plot turns left and right. Many important character also appear in vol 3 and the other volumes. Like, in vol 3, mia whitelock (the oracle) and scarlet(the vampire) appears. It is also revealed that, there are some people who protect the world from the shadows. They are named as tuners. There are 12 positions (excluding singularity). And siesta who call herself as the ace detective is one of the tuners (her position is- Ace detective).and many other positions like assassin, inventory, information broker,Phantom Thief, magician,etc. As the plot moves forward (vol 4) they finds ways to defect SPECS and to accomplish the wish of assistant. And as they reveal the truth (vol 6 ) behind 'why did siesta choose kimihiko as her assistant' and 'how did Danny bryant die' and the first meeting of the assistant and the detective which was not the meeting above 10,000 meters in the sky in an aeroplane but rather another interesting story that the detective and the assistant solves before the meeting in the sky above 10,000 meters in an aeroplane. The plot is interesting. Very very interesting. I just hope they make the season 2 as per as expectations. It has been more than 2 years.therefore,my expectations are high in this season. If they make the season nicely then it can become one of the top animes. Thank you soo much to read it till here.i hope you enjoy the story of the detective and the assistant. And one last spoiler for those who don't read light novel and are sad about siesta dead is that Siesta comes back to life in vol 4. See this story is very amazing. Even you don't understand the story in the first try there is always a second try. Even though there is a bit less character building still it is pretty good. Also at the very times very sad, magical, adventures, and also some romance. I would very much like season 2 to reveal what is going to happen. Also what happens toto iris and reno after all the destruction. I really what to know. I request the developers to came up with a season 2. I would also request the people to watch this amazing sad anime. I mean the storyline is good. Even what happens to light and dark. I want to know dearly. I request you all to support this anime.
