This is the same film as the original, 1 to 1 almost, Hiccup isn't as funny and and some of the cast doesn't LOOK like the og, but they where great actors. I think i prefer Fishlegs in this then the original. The visuals where also amazing like it looked real and was a perfect 1 to 1 from the original with some characters looking even better in my opinion, like the dragons for example
SPOILER (maybe?) there MIGHT have been an added detail with the family relationships but i can't remember if that was from the original or not.
If you like the Old movie, you will like this 7/10 (OG is 8/10) its one lower just cuz the idea.

This film is amazing from start to finish, and it only gets better.
Not only is the story great, but the music, animation, and sound are all top-tier. I love when films show how sound looks, which this film does several times in very creative ways.
Yes, the CGI on the characters may look a little out of place, but I think they chose that approach to best show how the characters are playing the instruments. You can see all the details and movements that go into such an art.
The music in this is absolutely mind-changing, and you'll leave feeling inspired-not just musically. I really can't describe the music in words, so go listen and see it for yourself.

Literally nothing about this film is bad, there are maybe thing that could have been added but not one part of this movie was bad. From the unique animation, the clever story telling and the INCREDIBLE music this a MUST SEE.
It's very impressive that movie without any dialogue can be so tear jerking, the story is never explained yet you get what is happening (most times).
My theory is that the film is about the circle of life, and how no matter what you do, you will die. And then new life will go on
It's very hard to say why this movie is so good without watching it first because again, there is no dialogue so it's really up to the audience to figure out what is going on. Instated of it begin explain, you see the story play out in real time.
