I must be in the minority here but I honestly loved this movie. The critics definitely over exaggerated how bad this movie was because it was really cool. Especially the world-building, the robots and the post-apocalyptic setting, everything was well done. The designs of the machines were haunting but also strangely beautiful and the environment as well as background for this universe made it incredibly believable. The only thing for me was the beginning was slow but then it picked up the pace by the half way point. Although I do have to say that it was different than other robot or sci-fi movies I have watched and really one of my favorites of this genre.

As a self-proclamied Jane Austen fan I would say that this flim is truly remarkable. Although it may have bad ratings, I do implore that all should view this movie at least once. Mind you, I do not enjoy watching anything related to zombies nor gore but without it there would be no action or plot. Now, I would like to talk about the main characters; Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy. In this version Elizabeth Bennet is still headstrong, intelligent and independant. Mr. Darcy is still socailly awkward and stubborn. My only problem I felt he was a bit underdevolped. Other than that this is a wonderful flim that all should watch!
