If you're familiar with the live-action Transformers franchise there is usually an overabundance of unnecessary explosions, hot women, and sexual jokes with an under-abundance of story & character development.
That is not the case with Rise Of The Beasts. Without giving away any spoilers, the movie gives a gradual (and competent) development of the story along with character development in both the humans and transformers.
The movie builds off of Bumblebee nicely by maintaining some of the innocence while incorporating much of the action and darkness that we see in the Michael Bay Transformers movies.
My only real complaints are that a couple parts of the movie were a little too predictable for my taste, and the CGI was off at times.
The soundtrack however was incredible, hearing some of the og Transformers songs was truly magnificent, the score composer truly nailed this soundtrack.
But aside from the nitpicking complaints I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and will most likely pay to see it a second time.
PS, don't leave the theater too soon after it ends👀

I truly loved this series, it's one of my favorite Transformers series that I have come across. It's very climatic, reminiscent of the old school G1 Transformers, many different characters get screen time so it doesn't get stale using the same 4 or 5 Transformers over and over and over again.
As much as I liked it, it lacked in a lot of areas. The big thing is that the series felt too short, they tried to do a lot in too little time. A lot of the plot issues probably would have been worked out with 40 minute episodes or 10 episode seasons.
Other minor complaints is the voice acting for several of the Transformers left much be desired, long pauses between words and sentences really draws out the sequences of dialogue, there is a lack of on-screen transformations, and many of the fight scenes are short-lived.
For those who don't know the Transformers lore, this series could be somewhat confusing as some things go unsaid that a diehard Transformers fan would understand but a casual viewer may be confused about.
Still, with those complaints, the ending of each chapter and the series as a whole was very climatic and there were a couple exciting plot twists.
8/10 would recommend.

This show is exactly what you'd expect it to be, it's a kid show with an innocent feel to it with childish humor.
In my opinion it is a well-done series, the voice acting is good, the plot is intriguing, even some of the kids humor I got a kick out of it, the fight scenes are good too.
I would definitely recommend this to parents who like Transformers and think their kids would enjoy it too without having to sit through a 2.5 hour Michael Bay Transformer movie that involve a lot of crude humor.
The show is a little bit too human-focused for my taste and some of the big name Transformers people might want to see go several episodes at a time without making an appearance but that is really my only complaint.
